S. EUotImagine A surgeon walks into the operating theatre. He takes a scalpel and makes an incision. The patient's pulse quickens, blood pressure dropping, as an assistant speaks. 'Doctor, would you like to review the patient's profile before continuing?' Unaware of the possibilities of modem technology, the startled medicine man looks up. 'What kind of information do you have?' Others in the room look on in amazement. 'Well, Doctor, we have x-rays and a scan.' After a moment of reflection, the red-faced professional blurts out, 'No, rU just do the best I can.' You could hear a pin drop.Imagine A salesman - an amateur pilot - arrives at the airport where he keeps his small, single engine aircraft. 'A beautiful day for a joy ride', he announces as he walks directly to his plane. He starts the engine, taxis to the nearest runway and then takes off into the sky. Air traffic control watches in disbehef, trying in vain to reach him by radio. 'A beautiful day . . .' he repeats as he cUmbs higher, narrowly missing an incoming jethner making its final approach . . .
