Művészetében ma is azokból az anyagokból építkezik, azokat a tárgyakat alkotja újra, amelyekre már ott, kisgyerekként rátalált. Amikor alkot, tulajdonképpen emlékeket kapar elő az őt felnevelő föld mélyéről. De nem csak metaforikus értelemben teszi ezt: szó szerint kaparja a földet, s szó szerint mintát vesz belőle, végül pedig szó szerint a föld színeivel festi meg lelkének örömeit és fájdalmait - mint az édesapja elvesztésének emlékére készített, Csendes eső (2009) című földfestmé- Ágnes Németh grew up in the countryside, in a small village by the river Tisza, where she was surrounded by the wild and lavish beauties of Nature. In her art she has still been using the materials, and recreating the objects, that she had discovered there as a child. For example, she weaves fish traps using willow shoots, which she then plasters with mud, but these are not meant to catch fish: they are fashioned into human figures, gates and books, recreating an entirely new universe. In her artistic creation, she essentially prospects the land that nourished her for memories. But she does that not only in a metaphorical sense: she literally scrapes the earth, literally takes samples from it, and finally she paints the joys and sorrows of her soul with actual earth colours - like in the case of the
