Author's Note As this book, of necessity, has to be written in advance of the making of the television episodes (and in the latter part, well ahead of the writing of the episode scripts) there may be somé slight differences in the details of the story. ^ During the filming changes frequently have to be made for reasons of economics, inclement weather, illness, etc, but it is hoped that these differences will pro ve insignificant, and that viewers will not be irritated by small irregularities which are out of the author's control. Once again it must be stated that all characters and situations are entirely fictitious, as are somé of the named venues. Any similarity to actual persons and events is not intentional. JB May 1986
