Course Objectives

• Develop Web providers and portlets by using JSPs and Java servlets

Objectives
OracleAS Portal is a complete solution for building, deploying, and maintaining self-service, integrated enterprise portals. This lesson introduces the key features of enteiprise portals and the OracleAS Portal solution. You learn about the open and extensible architectiue of OracleAS Portal. You also leam about the OracleAS Portal user interface and the portlet development options. Finally, you leam about the OracleAS Portal Developer Kit (PDK), its deployment environment, the Web provider architecture, and the Web provider deployment environment.
