THE FARMER AND THE BOY A One morning a farmer met a boy and asked him : "Do you want a job ?" "Yes, I do," said the boy. "Can you give me a good character 1 then ?" asked the farmer. "Well, I told him who wanted it," said the boy. "Well ?" asked the farmer.
